The University of Otago provides slow charging EV stations for use by staff and students.

How do I access slow charging stations

To access a slow charging station if you are a staff member:

  1. Download the Parkable app
  2. Register using your University email address in the format: firstname.lastname@otago.ac.nz
  3. Include the licence plate of the EV in your list of authorised vehicles within the Parkable app.
  4. Select Yes in the Is this a plug-in electric vehicle? field.
  5. Provide your own cable when using the slow charging stations.

A charge of NZ$10 per day applies for use of the park, including charging.

Edit a vehicle loaded to your Parkable profile

To access a slow charging station if you are a student:

  1. Open the Parking form.
  2. Complete all the required fields.
  3. Include that you are requesting a slow charging station.
  4. Submit the form.
  5. Provide your own cable when using the slow charging stations.

Open form

A charge of NZ$10 per day applies for use of the park, including charging.
