The University provides new parent carparks for those returning to work after parental leave. New parent parking is in place to ensure a smooth transition of returning to work, and removes the stress of finding a park, or arriving late.
The Dunedin campus has up to three carparks reserved for news parents to use, with an allocation period of three months (minimum) to one year (maximum). The new parent parks are charged at the uncovered parking rate, even if they are covered.
Note that the availability of these parks is dependent on the demand at the time.
