All new electrical appliances at the University, including at the Uni Flats and residential colleges, are tested prior to being installed. This is a requirement, as per the University's policies.
If a new appliance is acquired, it is important to get it tested.
To request an electrical appliance safety test, a Property Services request can be raised.

To raise a Property Services request:
- Open the Property Services request form.
- Complete all the required fields.
- Include as much information or detail as possible.
