The University of Otago, Christchurch (UOC) student support hub is available to students in addition to the existing support provided at UOC.
The hub is designed to be accessible to all students, and offer support via text message, phone or video call, email, or face-to-face.
Support and guidance can be provided for requests including, but not limited to:
- Academic and learning support
- Accommodation
- Financial
- Food
- Grief
- Harassment
- Homesickness
- International student support
- Leave
- Māori student support
- Mental wellbeing
- Pacific student support
- Personal or other safety
- Queer/rainbow support
- Racism
Requests will be triaged and coordinated with the appropriate staff members in a confidential manner. Where there are safety concerns, your information and request may be shared with the University of Otago, Christchurch Dean, Professor Suz Pitama.
