The Student Support Hub is available to all students at the University of Otago, Christchurch (UOC) in addition to the existing support they provide.
The hub is accessible to all UOC students, regardless of your course of study, whether you are postgraduate or undergraduate, a domestic student or international student. They offer various means of support via text message, phone or video call, email, or face-to-face.
Support and guidance can be provided for requests including, but not limited to:
- Academic and learning support
- Accommodation
- Financial
- Food
- Grief
- Harassment
- Homesickness
- International student support
- Leave
- Māori student support
- Mental wellbeing
- Pacific student support
- Personal or other safety
- Queer/rainbow support
- Racism
Requests will be confidentially triaged and coordinated with the appropriate staff members. If there are safety concerns, your information and request may be shared with the University of Otago, Christchurch Dean, Professor Lutz Beckert.
