Third parties, such as employers, may pay some or all of a student’s tuition fees. A student can either request that an invoice is issued directly to the organisation or pay the fees and then seek reimbursement from the third party.

Who is this available to

Students whose tuition fees will be fully or partly paid by a third party organisation (such as an employer, sponsor, or external scholarship).

How do I advise a third party is paying my tuition fees

To advise that a third party will be paying some or all of your fees:

  1. In the Fee payment options section:
    • If the University has a pre-existing arrangement with your employer or sponsor, select their name from the drop-down list
    • If the name is not listed, do not select anything and continue with your application or enrolment
  2. Complete the Third party fees invoice request online form
  3. Once the form is received, Student Finance will contact the organisation you have listed to confirm the details of the tuition fees they will pay on your behalf.

If you will pay your tuition fees yourself and then seek reimbursement from a third party:

  1. Complete your application and enrolment.
  2. After you submit for course approval, a tuition fee invoice will be issued to your eVision portal.
  3. After you have paid, access the invoice and receipt in eVision and forward them to your employer for reimbursement.

StudyLink, Fees-Free, and internally awarded scholarships are not considered third party sponsors.
