How do I defer an offer of place

Domestic applicants

To defer an offer of place as a domestic applicant:

  1. Contact your supervisor to confirm a new start date for your programme.
  2. They will advise you of the next steps.

First year international applicants

To defer an offer of place as a first year international applicant:

  1. Contact your supervisor to confirm a new start date for your programme.
  2. Log in to eVision.
  3. Navigate to My Programmes and Papers.
  4. Select Apply for Deferral.
  5. Complete the deferral request form for the programme you want to defer.
  6. Upload the confirmation of your updated start date to the request.
  7. You will be contacted by Student Administration, advising of next steps.
