Brightside Aotearoa is a confidential free mental health treatment study that students are invited to be involved in. The study is being run by the University of Otago in conjunction with Victoria University of Wellington, University of Waikato, University of Auckland, and University of Canterbury.
Who can take part
Tertiary students over 18 years of age and living in New Zealand can apply to be part of the study. You will complete an initial 45-minute survey, then if you are eligible for the study, you will be placed in one of the four treatment options:
- Online modules
- Modules + coaching
- Skills seminars via Zoom
- Using your usual mental health services
