The University of Otago maintains a web presence across several platforms for staff to communicate information to colleagues, prospective and current students, and collaborators.
- Otago Blogs allows staff and postgraduate students to create, manage, and post to their own blog to publish information for teaching, research, or administration.
- Otago Wikis is a wiki platform that allows staff to create and manage wikis for teaching and research. Wikis are collaborative sites that allow users to suggest new pages and updates.
- Squiz content management system (CMS), the University of Otago website management and hosting tool, allows Web Services and other select staff to create and edit content, and host documents across the website.
- Web hosting for custom domains can be provided for projects, teams, and departments as appropriate. Sites on these domains are still hosted on the University CMS.
