Description:
To enhance security, the type of passwords staff and students can use for University systems will change from 27 January.
We recommend meeting the new requirements now, however only people creating or changing their passwords from 27 January will be affected at this stage.
Passwords will not be accepted if less than 16 characters or if any of the person’s previous eight passwords. Please note, staff using a PIN or facial recognition on laptops/desktop computers will still need passwords for IT systems.
