The University of Otago offers over 150 different qualifications taught on campus and through the distance learning programme. These qualifications span undergraduate and postgraduate study and are designed to support flexible study pathways.

If you are studying for a bachelor's degree, you will choose a major subject, which is your primary area of specialisation. With most degrees, you can also choose an optional minor subject (a secondary specialisation) and select additional papers from other subjects to tailor your degree to your interests.
