The University of Otago Schools' Liaison Office co-ordinates guided tours of the Dunedin campus for prospective students and their families.
Campus tours are hosted by student tour guides, who will take you on a visit around the campus, highlighting important areas like Mellor Labs, the Central Library, and the broad range of student support services. They will also take you into two residential colleges, St Margaret's College and University College/"UniCol", so you will get a good understanding of accommodation options.
Bookings are at set times Monday to Friday at 10:30am or 1pm, and are around 90 minutes long, but can take a little longer. You will need to book at least a week in advance.
Note that while regular campus tours are designed for prospective undergraduate students from New Zealand high schools, visiting international students considering undergraduate studies are welcome to join these tours.
Prospective international students of any study level (pathway, undergraduate, and postgraduate) are encouraged to connect with the international students team for personalised advice regarding study options and country-specific information. Email international-connect@otago.ac.nz
School group tours are also available and are co-ordinated by the Schools' Liaison Office. Advance bookings are essential. For enquiries, email the Schools' Liaison Administrator: liaison@otago.ac.nz
