Uniprint provides printing services to all University of Otago campuses. This includes printing on the multifunction devices (MFDs – print, copy and scan functionality) located in departments, libraries, and student computer areas.
The printing service on campus, called uniFLOW or FollowMe printing, gives students and staff access to a large number of printing devices across all campuses. The uniFLOW software allows direct printing, which enables you to release your print job from any printer across campus.
Uniprintstations are multifunction devices that can be accessed in the libraries and student computer areas on all of the University's campuses. These devices can:
- Print and copy double-sided documents
- Copy and scan in both colour and black and white
- Print colour and black and white in one document (this will be charged accordingly)
- Receive print jobs from University-owned computers or from your own computer or device
- Send your scanned documents to your University email
- Temporarily hold your print job within the uniFLOW system
Students have a printing account linked to their student ID card. Funds can be added to your printing account through approved University payment channels. If your print job fails, refunds are available.
Not all printers have the same finishing options, i.e. stapling, booklets, etc. If you require more advanced printing options than the Uniprintstations can offer – such as posters, binding, lamination, thesis printing, and many other services – Uniprint can help.
If you require printing support, AskStudent IT can help. They are located at the AskOtago hub in the Central Library.
