"FollowMe" printing uses UniFlow software to direct printing jobs and allows you to collect your printing from any printer on campus.
Drivers for uniFLOW/FollowMe printers may be added/installed by following the instructions if they are not already automatically installed.
How do I add printer drivers
To add printer drivers:
Windows
- Click on the Windows icon or tap the Windows key:
- Windows 10: Copy and paste
\\unf-rpsd-p02.registry.otago.ac.nz\UO_uniFLOW_Print
into the Windows search box at the bottom of your screen. - Windows 11 on University-owned/domain-bound computers: If the Windows search does not work, open
Run and paste
\\unf-rpsd-p02.registry.otago.ac.nz\
into the search box. - Windows 11 on personal computers or devices: If the Windows search does not work, open Run and
paste
\\unf-rpsd-p02.registry.otago.ac.nz\UO_uniFLOW_Print
into the search box.
- Windows 10: Copy and paste
- Enter your University username with the prefix student\ (if student) or registry\ (if staff) and your password (if prompted).
- Tick the Remember my Credentials box.
- Windows 11: in the printer driver directory, manually select UO_uniFLOW_Print. Right-click and connect to it.
- Once the installer is complete you will have a new printer/queue called UO_uniFLOW_Print.
Mac
- Download the Mac UOPrint driver installer.dmg file from the link below:
- Set up Otago uniFLOW macOS.dmg (right-click and Save link as to download)
- Right-click on the file and select Open to run it.
- Follow the instructions through the install process.
- Once the installer is complete you will have a new printer/queue called UO Print.
- The first time you print a document you should be prompted for your username and password. Enter your University username with the prefix student\ (if student) or registry\ (if staff) and your password. Tick the Remember this password in my keychain box.

"Access is denied" error
If you receive an error stating "access is denied", you will need to manually add your credentials to your device:
- Click on the Windows icon or tap the Windows key.
- Type
credential manager
into the search box. - Click on Windows Credentials, then Add a Windows credential.
- Enter the following information:
- Internet or network address:
\\unf-rpsd-p02.registry.otago.ac.nz
- Username: your University username with the prefix student\ (if student) or registry\ (if staff)
- Password: your University password
- Internet or network address:
- Click OK and repeat the steps under the Windows instructions above.
