Kickstart 101 is a six-week Summer School paper (PACR 101) for Pacific and Māori students.
The programme has been run under the name KIKS (Kia Ita and KickStart) as a collaborative venture between Te Huka Mātauraka
and the Pacific Islands Centre.
The course is open to all Pacific and Māori students who:
- Are entering first-year tertiary study at the University of Otago
- Have either shown an interest or already applied to study at the University of Otago
Students who have not yet formally applied to the University will get guidance and assistance to do so.
The paper is managed by Te Tumu, School of Māori, Pacific and Indigenous Studies and uses the same paper code.
