An IT workstation is a laptop or desktop computer with accompanying suitable equipment, such as additional monitors, docking station, keyboard, mouse, cables, webcam, and headset.
Staff members and postgraduate students can request IT workstations. Staff can also request specialist equipment for research purposes or special projects.
You are allocated an IT workstation based on your role. This is fit-for-purpose IT equipment designed to meet your needs, have the necessary features and specifications for your work, and operate reliably.
Support for these workstations is provided to staff where faults arise, or if additional or replacement equipment is required.
