Resource Booker is used for making casual room bookings. This includes "pool" lecture theatres, seminar rooms, and laboratories.

Resource Booker cannot be used to make bookings for any timetabled teaching activities (e.g. lectures, tutorials, labs). These requests must be made to timetables@otago.ac.nz

You can view the capacity of a room when you are making a booking through Resource Booker.

Staff and students can log into Resource Booker with their University of Otago email and password:

If you require any further assistance, contact AskOtago

All requests for access or changes to non-teaching room resources in Resource Booker can be forwarded to ITS Information Systems in CRSM if appropriate.

There are several different types of users in Resource Booker:

  • Content Support: Usually the Client Services Lead Administrator for the area. Maintains details of rooms/resources (capacity, facilities available, etc.)
  • Platform Administration: ISG Application Support
  • Super Administration: ISG Application Support

Instructions for accessing Active Directory (AD) and locating Resource Booker security groups can be found on AskOtago SharePoint: Finding Resource Booker groups in AD
