How do I pay the Student Services Fee

You can pay your Student Services Fee using one of the following methods:

  • Internet banking (New Zealand bank account holders)
  • Telegraphic transfer
  • Convera
  • EFTPOS or credit card at AskOtago (Dunedin campus only)
  • Government student loan – StudyLink
  • Third party payment

Internet banking

If you hold a New Zealand bank account, you can pay using internet banking.

  1. Log in to your banking application.
  2. Search for “University of Otago – Tuition” under Registered payees.
  3. Select this payee to ensure payment goes to the correct bank account.
  4. Enter your name and student ID as the payment reference.
  5. Complete the payment.

Telegraphic transfer

To pay by telegraphic transfer:

  1. Transfer funds from your bank account to the University of Otago bank account using the details below:
    • Bank and address: ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited, ANZ Auckland Branch, 203 Queen Street, PO Box 62, Auckland 1010, New Zealand
    • Bank account name: University of Otago
    • Bank account number: 01-1839-0944124-01
    • SWIFT code: ANZBNZ22 (for payments outside New Zealand)
  2. Include your name and student ID number as the payment reference.

Convera

To pay using Convera:

  1. Go to the Convera website
  2. Enter the required information.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete your payment.

EFTPOS or credit card

You can pay in person at the AskOtago Central Hub on the Dunedin campus.
