Apply for a secure leased bicycle rack

Leased bicycle racks provide covered and secure bicycle storage. Places are allocated via a waiting list.

How do I apply for a secure bicycle rack

To apply for a leased bicycle cage on the Dunedin campus:

1. Complete the Parking form.
2. Select Secure bike cage as the Park type.
3. Provide any bicycle cage preferences
4. Read and agree to the University of Otago Parking Policy and Traffic and Parking Regulations
5. Submit the form.

Note that the Parkable Terms and Conditions do not need to be read for secure bicycle rack applications.

To apply for a leased bicycle cage on the Christchurch campus:

1. Contact the AskOtago Christchurch hub located at 2 Riccarton Avenue.
2. Take your University of Otago staff or student ID card with you when requesting swipe card access.

How much does it cost

There is no charge for the use of leased bicycle racks.
