As part of an application to study at the University of Otago, the Department or Division responsible for the programme will assess the application and request any additional documentation that may be required.
During enrolment, papers are selected for the programme, and personal information, including contact details, can be updated. During a course of study, programme and paper changes can be requested via eVision.
- Annual enrolment details are required for enrolment and can be updated at any time.
- Finalists are students enrolled for a course that will complete their qualification in the current semester or year.
- Paper changes can be made before and after course approval, subject to the relevant enrolment deadlines.
- Paper selection occurs when an offer of a place in a selected programme is accepted, or when paper selection opens each year for returning students.
- Paper transfers to a different programme can be requested at any time, but completion of the administrative process varies depending on whether the papers are from the current or previous academic year.
- Programme changes include adding, dropping or changing a qualification.
- Special permission may be required for some papers during the paper selection process.
- Withdrawal under exceptional circumstances can be sought after the normal deadlines for withdrawing from papers have passed, and is primarily intended for unanticipated exceptional circumstances.
