The University of Otago English Language Centre is a registered test centre for:

• English for Otago (EFO) is a pathway option for students who meet academic but not English entry requirements to study at the University.
• The IELTS (International English Language Testing System), which tests the ability to communicate in English via listening, reading, writing and speaking skills.
• The OET (Occupational English Test), which is for healthcare professionals seeking to register and practice in an English-speaking environment.
