The Proctor's Office is responsible for the safety of students and staff and maintaining a healthy learning environment for all.
The Proctor works closely with the police and local authorities in fostering the unique relationship in Dunedin as it relates to student behaviour. The Proctor's Office is also responsible for the security of and access to all University of Otago buildings.
The Proctor's Office, including Campus Watch and the Campus Cop, is located in the St David Street Lecture Theatre complex. All enquiries, questions, and requests for information and advice on all matters are welcome.

The Proctor is available to see students without an appointmentfrom 8:30am to 10am each business day. This is the best time for students to see the Proctor if they have concerns.
