The University of Otago provides options for the secure transfer of files, both internally and externally.
- HCS High Speed Data Transfer / Globus allows researchers to securely transfer large amounts of data between National eScience Infrastructure computing facilities.
- Otago file transfer (GoAnywhere) can be used to securely send files to others when options such as email or Microsoft 365 OneDrive/Teams are not appropriate or available. Otago File Transfer is most suitable for the sharing of large files with users outside of the University.
- Shared file storage in lecture theatres can be used to transfer files within lecture theatres.
