The University of Otago welcomes domestic students at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
To gain admission to the University, you will need to meet the University's entrance requirements.
Apply to the University as a domestic student:
Discretionary entrance allows you to apply for study based on your NCEA Level 2 or equivalent results,
if you are not otherwise qualified for admission
Domestic student admission applies to New Zealand citizens, citizens of the Cook Islands, Tokelau, or Niue, New Zealand
resident class visa holders and Australian citizens or permanent residents
Special admission is an alternative entry pathway for applicants who do not otherwise qualify for admission to the
University
