The University of Otago has 15 residential colleges located within a short distance of the campus.

- Three meals a day, seven days a week

- Cultural and sporting events throughout the year

- Within a 15–20 minute walk of the University campus
Experienced live-in college leaders, professional staff, and senior students support new students.
